Investing in our Future
Willamette Family’s Child Development Center (CDC) delivers high-quality child care and early education experiences to enhance children's development and to support families in their treatment, recovery, and parenting roles.
The CDC provides mothers an opportunity to access care for their children ages 6 weeks-6 years while they participate in residential, outpatient, aftercare and mental health therapy services. Low child to staff ratio assures that children receive the individual attention that positively influences development. Each classroom is child friendly and designed specifically for the developmental needs of the children served.
It is the CDC’s belief that children learn best through play and exploration and through these experiences they thrive in all areas of their development.
Services provided include:
- Skilled childcare by trained, experienced staff
- Parent-child activities and experiences
- Developmental screenings
- Parenting education
- Nutritious meals and snacks
- Referrals for specific needs
- Low teacher/child ratio
Willamette Family collaborates with the Early Childhood CARES program through the University of Oregon and Early Head Start to assure that all children receive developmental screenings/assessments and services as indicated.
