Women's Services Willamette Family, Inc. provides an array of services to Veterans. We want to emphasize the fact that these are covered through a voucher system (not your insurance) and very confidential. We have Veterans on staff as well as Individuals who have extensive experience providing services to past and current military members.
Many of the Individuals we work with have experienced trauma in their lives. Trauma occurs when we witness or experience events that are emotionally painful, stressful, or shocking.
Traumatic events commonly cause intense feelings of helplessness, fear, anxiety, or betrayal. Our goal is to support Individuals in creating greater safety in their lives and making healthy choices in relationships with friends, families, and partners. When desired we involve Individuals and their families in setting goals and in making decisions about the treatment process.
