WILLAMETTE FAMILY ITS-TEENS MIP PROGRAM
(Minor in Possession)
The ITS-TEENS MIP Program is designed to meet the needs of teens and their families. Our MIP program is an alcohol and drug counseling program that fulfills the Lane County Department of Youth Services (DYS) requirements for MIP treatment completion. Personalized service and a family-friendly environment distinguish our services.
The following services are provided in the MIP Program:
Screening and Assessment
Family Group Education (Thursdays 5:30-7:00pm)
Urinalysis Drug Test
Screening $25-$50(sliding scale available)
Family education $50-$150 (sliding scale available)
Individual/group $25-$50 (sliding scale available)
Our MIP program is six weeks long, with two treatment contacts each week. Our qualified counselor(s) use evidenced based practices to teach youth about the impact of alcohol and drug use, and the development and practice of healthy coping and refusal skills. Individual sessions include urinalyses. Should the MIP services not adequately meet the treatment needs of the adolescent, referrals to more intensive treatment will be explored. Following completion of the program, a certificate is issued which documents program success. In addition, the Willamette Family staff informs DYS/ Teen Court that the individual has completed the program, preventing further legal action.
