The Outpatient Counselor is responsible for developing personalized recovery plans that help to establish healthy behaviors and provide coping skills in individuals that suffer from Substance Use Disorders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Present as the primary case manager assisting individuals needing services related to SUDS.
- Group counseling: Provide individuals with support in a group setting.
- Facilitate educational presentations.
- Individual counseling: Assist in the management, resolution, and reduction of substance use.
- Serve as a liaison between WF and other individual monitoring agencies.
- Provide culturally sensitive and relevant services to individuals and their families.
- Maintain a high level of ongoing knowledge and education regarding SUDS. Complete any necessary requirements to maintain certification.
- General office duties: make copies, send faxes, and occasionally assist an individual to complete forms.
- Participate in supervision sessions with Clinical Supervisor.
- Complete any tasks assigned by the Outpatient Manager and the Outpatient Director.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge, skills and abilities demonstrating competence through experience or education in the following essential job functions:
- Competence in the treatment of SUDS
- Required knowledge in ASAM-PPC 2R, ISSR/OAR’s, 42 CFR Part 2/HIPAA.
- Knowledge of Office 2010 software applications including Outlook
- Maintenance of filing systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Oregon state certification (CADC) is required.
- For an individual recovering from the disease of addiction, continuous abstinence under independent living conditions for the immediate past 2 years.

SUMMARY
Prepares and cooks family style meals for residents and employees of Willamette Familyby performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES will be determined by the individual selected for the position. Other duties may be assigned. Duties will include most of the following:
- Cooks meals in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served.
- Follow the instructions and menus of the day
- Must have Food Handler’s Card
- General cleaning and sanitizing skills a must
- Must Work well with other employees and clients
- Other duties may include washing dishes, putting away freight and stocking freezers.
- May direct activities of one or more workers/clients who assist in preparing and serving meals
- Excellent work habits required
- Other duties may be assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A basic knowledge of safe and proper use of kitchen equipment and strong adherence to health and safety standards required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Cooking and general housekeeping experience preferred, will train.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing for extended periods of time, ability to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently and 10 to 20 frequently. Job description involves bending stooping & twisting.
