Willamette Family, Inc. offers training in life skills that promotes independence and is flexible to meet the needs of the Individual. One-on-One training at the facility or in the participant’s home supports the development of daily living skills such as household management including but not limited to budgeting, shopping, money management and scheduling.
Each Individual will participate in a life skills self assessment before we start services. There are nine categories of life skills we will inventory. They include: Environmental skills, financial skills, Social/Civic skills, Parenting Skills, Employability Skills, Friendship/Intimacy Skills, Learning/Education Skills, Life Planning Skills, and Self-management tools. We will set goals and provide curriculum for a measurable outcome.
