Buckley's Sobering Services is a community response for intoxicated individuals or as a first step into treatment. We provide services for substance users who need to withdraw safely from alcohol and/or substances and achieve an acceptable level of sobriety in a safe, caring environment.
Sobering Service includes:
Sobering Services are provided as a harm reduction, public safety service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Intoxicated individuals are housed and monitored in a safe and clean environment until they are capable of passing a sobriety test and leaving in a safe condition. During their stay, they monitored for emerging medical issues, provided soup, fluids, and a safe place to rest. Prior to discharge, they meet with our skilled staff that provides motivational counseling designed to encourage entry into detox or other addiction treatment and referrals to other social/medical services as indicated.
